Excellent food, the BEST. Delicious, homemade-style Mexican food. They make their own tortillas, people! Need I say more? I love their shrimp burritos, and I went in week ago for their costillas en salsa (ribs in sauce), and it was amazing. This place deserves to have lines outside the door and to the corner.

I finally got the chance to eat here for lunch again after more than a year. I was so happy that there was sit in dining here again during this pandemic. The Super Quesadilla that I had was huge and perfect. It was not too greasy like some other places. I really love the relaxed atmosphere here. The food is always great here.

Ive been going here for years and it never disappoints. The breakfast burritos and super burritos are huge and is enough to split with another person. The chicken Millanese is the best I've ever had.

Everything I have had here is excellent , my favorite is the steak milanesa it is to die for, hand made tortillas are over the top good. Nothing fancy but solid good Mexican food with large portions. The Micheladas are on point I recommend with negra modelo. Roxana the waitress in the day time is the best

I'm not sure why some places in the Mission get completely ignored by the hipsterati, but I never see this friendly hole-in-the-wall on anyone's must-try list. It's a pity really since the food is solid and probably more consistent than a lot of similar operations. Granted it's not the most inviting-looking place with the bars in the window blocking the view into the plain, square dining room inside (photo: http://bit.ly/2lj7bnn). I just happened upon it because I was strolling by and curious enough to check out what others said on Yelp. The ones who have tried it appeared to like it, and I noticed the possibility of another menudo spot on the weekends. The menu is pretty standard, and I noticed tacos were just $5.50. I asked the server if I could get a Fish Taco since I didn't see it listed. She said they make a special one for $8.50. I was thinking the higher price was not a good sign, but when it came out, it was a ginormous amount of food, generous with pan-fried cod mixed with fresh salsa wrapped in a large flour tortilla (photo: http://bit.ly/2liVFbq). It definitely required a knife and fork, and had I known how big it was going to be, I would have thought twice about ordering the $12.50 Caldo de Res, a hearty bowl of beef soup with real chunks of tender beef mixed with carrots, corn on the cob, and chayote (photo: http://bit.ly/2kUWSVo). Add in chopped onion and cilantro, a squeeze of lime (photo: http://bit.ly/2lxyYmt), and a little plate of Mexican rice (photo: http://bit.ly/2lj1WUI), and it's a complete meal on its own (photo: http://bit.ly/2liRe0i). Delicious home cooking and definitely worth a return. No hipsters allowed. FOOD - 4 stars...home-style Mexican done big, abundant, and flavorful AMBIANCE - 2.5 stars...well, it ain't Gary Danko SERVICE - 3.5 stars...friendly and laid back TOTAL - 4 stars...want a big fish taco? come here
